40 Days? Life is complicated - finances, marriage, children, habits, health, faith - is 40 days enough time to change any of that?

Research shows that major changes can be made in a matter of days. A recent study at University College London, states 66 days, while others suggest that change requires only 21, or 30 days. What we do know, is that changes that seem so difficult to accomplish are not beyond our grasp. With guidance, focus and persistence, we can make them happen.

Matt Cutts, the head of Google’s Webspam team, has been making month-long challenges in habit changing, and had this to say at a recent speech:

“The next 30 days are going to pass whether you like it or not, so why not think about something you have always wanted to try and give it a shot for the next 30 days?”

Change almost never fails because it’s too early. It almost always fails because it’s too late . - Seth Godin
